nVidia FX 5200 TwinView and Two Monitors

    Hiya,
I have two monitors hooked up to a dual-head nVidia FX 5200 graphics card. What I wonder is, if I have both heads configured, is it going to hurt anything if one of the monitors is not on all of the time. I have the card set up in TwinView so that I can use the two desktops together yet manage windows in each screen separately. That part work great, but if I had to disable one monitor whenever I didn't want to use it, that would be a real pain. I haven't had any issues with the card, I just don't want to do anything that may damage it or shorten its lifespan.

No You can turn off the other monitor that you not wished to use, basically be like if its not plugged in,,, so there fore it will be no harm to the card as I've a dual screen setup but only use the one when I need em both I just simply turn it on.

You good to go Bert thanks for the Good Question.

Thanks. That helps a bunch since my second monitor is a TV and I don't usually want it to be on only when I watch videos with my media player. Also it is handy to use whilst the wife or kids are using the console at my desk. That puts my mind at ease.
